Wilma Ray Haerr

She was born August 10, 1933 in Short Creek, KY to her mother Mae. On September 25, 1954 at the First Presbyterian Church in Peoria she married Don Haerr who she spent 60 wonderful years with.

Wilma received her Bachelors of Science from Illinois State University at the age of 43. There is a scholarship in her name for Social Work students at ISU. She was a bookkeeper for Haerr Enterprises for many years. Wilma enjoyed making teddy bears, writing poems, doing artwork and spending time with her family. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Normal.

She is survived by her husband: Don; children: Susan (Paul) Zucker of Chicago, Linda (Rodney) Sabick of Bloomington and Mike (Colleen) Haerr of Copperopolis, CA; grandchildren: Leslie and Rachel Sabick both of Bloomington; sister in law: Norma Welch of Pleasant Hills, CA.

She was preceded in death by her mom and sister: Edythe Hirsch.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am Saturday March 14, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of Normal, 2000 E. College Normal, IL 61761.
