Alice "Jenny" Clarke

Alice “Jenny” Clarke, 82, of Bloomington, IN passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016. She was born July 18, 1934 in Bloomington, IN the daughter of the late Charles Stubblefield and Annabelle Parker Dyer.

Jenny retired after over thirty years as an administrative assistant for the Indiana University Alumni Association. She was a member of American Legion Post 18 and the Bloomington Moose Lodge. She enjoyed cards, especially euchre and bridge and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

Jenny is survived by her two daughters, Vickie (Larry) Clarke-Easterday and Kathy S. Lucas; her two sons, Don L. Beyers and Rickie Clarke; her close friend, Jimmy Walker; six grandchildren, Rachel (Andrew), Gabriel (Brandy), Brandon (Jessica), Michelle, Amanda, and Jaden; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude “Bud” Clarke and a brother, Russell Parker.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Michael Douglas. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2016 and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike.
