Clarence "Gene" "Gene" Spears

Gene worked at GE and did general maintenance for many years.

Gene leaves behind his loving wife Mary (Gauldin)Spears, four sons; Sam W. Spears, David(wife Jill)Spears, James(wife Kelly)Spears, Dennis(wife Beth)Spears, two daughters; Anna(husband Raymond)Henderson, and Judith(husband Doug) Reef and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by five brothers; Don Spears, David Spears, David Sexton, Rick Sexton, Bryan Sexton and two sisters; Shirley Gauldin, and Tammy White.

Gene was preceded in death by his son Charles Ray Spears and his sister Marion Bonita Davis.

Friends may call on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary /Greene & Harrell Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. also in the funeral home. Burial with military honors, Monroe County Veterans Honor Guard presiding, in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
