

She was born in Bloomington to the late Luther and Lillie(Eads)Shields on February 16, 1918. Glodine was 95 years old and lived a fulfilling life.
She was married to Harold Humphrey for 64 years. Together they have five children, three of whom survive. Glodine loved spending her winter months in Florida, perusing flea markets and working in the yard.
Glodine is survived by three children; Gary Bix(Carole)Humphrey, Sandra(Art)Chevalier and Diana(Keith)Houston, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters; Gleeda Scrogham, Jean Peregrine and Jewell Tieman.
Glodine was preceded in death by her husband Harold, one son; Darrell “Buck” Humphrey, her daughter; Phyliss Todd, granddaughter; Kamara “Kammy” Humphrey, two great grandchildren; baby Kyler Alexander and Aaron Chambers, four brothers; Earl, Luther, Oliver, and Henry Shields, three sisters; Effie Meadow, Margaret Robinson, and Lora Smith and son-in-law Charles Beck.
