Larry Price born January 13, 1942. He had many brothers and sisters. He married Donna (Flynn) Price November 18, 1960. They had three boys; Gary Dean, Russell Dale, Mark Price and one daughter, Christina Long. 5 grandchildren; Toby Long, Markus Price, Halley Price, Alicia Price, and Gary Price six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was a self employed roofer and painter for over 40 years. And was known to many in the community as one of the hardest working, if not the hardest working, man around Bloomington. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. A loving husband to his wife Donna for 56 years. To some, Larry was a big man with an even bigger temper when crossed, but that didn't last long because he had an even bigger heart. Larry had a heart of gold and a great sense of humor. An avid gun collector and coffee drinker up to as many as 35-40 cups a day! He enjoyed playing the Hoosier lotto every Wednesday and Saturday. He loved old cowboy westerns such as the Lone Ranger and the Rifleman. The Rifleman was a tall man who carried an intimidating rifle but only used the rifle for good and would teach his boy core values of becoming a man in learning right and wrong and having a relationship with God. Larry possessed those same values. He was a faith based man with strong Christian values and a believer in God. He enjoyed listening to gospel music while sitting on the porch swing. He believed in working hard for what you want. He was many things to many people in the city of Bloomington, but most importantly he was a brother, a grandfather, a father and a husband. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten for he cast a big shadow on the peoples lives he touched and that will live forever. If you got the opportunity to meet Larry, then you knew from the moment you met him, what hard work and respect looked like.
