Lillian Adams Friley

Monday morning at the I.U. Health Hospital, Bloomington.

Born March 14, 1927 in Dubois County, she was the daughter

of Conrad G. and Anna M. (Bauer) Hagen. She was a loving

wife, homemaker and dedicated mother, grandmother and great

grandmother. After her own mother died from complications of

child birth, she along with eight siblings assisted

her father in keeping the family together. She was former

proprietor of Adams' Grocery store, Bruceville, IN. and after

moving to Bloomington, she was a sales representative for

Avon. She made a lifetime home for a sister who was

stricken as a child with polio and raised three children of

her own.

She was preceded in death by husbands Lester L. Adams and

Warren J. Friley and daughter Sandra K. Adams. She is

survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and

Brenda Adams of Ellettsville and Bradley W. and Rhonda

Friley of Unionville along with six grandchildren and nine

great grandchildren.

Per her wishes, there will be no services or visitation.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Lupus Foundation

of America or to the American Cancer Society.
