Michael Lawhead

Born April 26, 1946 in Bury, England, he was the son of Wylie Luther and Lillian Lawhead.

He was a caring and loving husband, dad and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to sprint car races.

Michael was married to a wonderful woman for 53 years, Carol Lynn Floyd. They were married on August 20, 1963.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Carol, their three children: Tana Lawhead, James Lawhead and Theresa Collier, 7 grandchildren: Kenny(wife Brandi)Myers, Nicole(fiancé Orbey Ruiz)Myers, Keisha Myers, Tyler Martin, Brandy Collier, Brittany(fiancé Nathaniel Low) Collier and Anthony Cox. He is also survived by three great grandchildren: Ana Ruiz Myers, Lucas Ruiz Myers and Lyric Shank.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1:30p.m. in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike, Bloomington, Indiana 47404. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
