
Rose Marie Ketcham, age 88, of Bloomington, died Wednesday afternoon at the Garden Villa in Bloomington. Born June 5, 1928 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of Albert B. Parker and Genevieve (Koontz) Eads. Rose retired from R.C.A. and was a long-time member of the Fairview United Methodist Church. She loved to travel and visited all but two of the United States. She enjoyed listening to classic country music, spending time with her beloved family members.
Rose is survived by her brother, Jerry Eads, of Greenwood, sister-in-law, Carol Eads, of Martinsville, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great- nephews, great-great-great-nieces and great-great-great-nephews. Rose had one great-nephew, Jeremy Southern, of Bloomington whom she raised as a son of her own. In addition, Rose considered it a blessing to have her sister, Virginia Combs being blessed with eight children whom Rose loved and adored all.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister, Virginia Combs and one nephew, Jim Combs.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Burial will immediately follow the service.
