William Pavey

William C. “Bud” Pavey 70, of Spencer passed away on Thursday, February 10, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on July 13, 1940 in Bloomington to the late William Leslie and Geraldine (Douthitt) Pavey.

Bud was the owner of “Bud’s Sandwich Shop” from 1966 – 2002. He was a member of the 11th Street Pentecostal Faith Assembly, and the Bloomington Moose Lodge. He was an avid bowler, and he loved sports.

Bud leaves behind his wife Donna (Chandler) Pavey of Spencer, his son Bill Pavey of Bloomington, his step-children Joe (Triana) Johnson of Bloomfield, Ruth “Ann” (Terry) Inabnitt of Henderson, Nevada, Ronda (Rob) Ramsak of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Jane (Chuck) Lyons of Bloomington. He leaves 9 step-grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren, he also leaves behind his sister Shirley Schooley of Bloomington, 3 nephews Roger Deckard, Ron Deckard, and Scott Schooley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter Angela Marie Pavey.

Friends may call at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary on Sunday from 2 – 6 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at the 11th Street Pentecostal Faith Assembly with Rev. Michael Douglas officiating. Burial will take place at Garrison Chapel Cemetery.
