Francis Valencia was a very best friend of my dad the late David sidenstick and Arlene sidenstick Darlene Bronson and Robert overman my dad and Francis Valencia worked together at General tube but my really truly friend is gone but will be never forgotten

We go back aways France, always felt as though you were  part of my own Family, you always made me feel that way. From back in the days at Rockies, when you and Donna got married , building race cars, just shooting the breeze about everything goin on in Blue Island, it was your life, all you ever wanted Blue Island, your Family, and your Friends... I am thankful that Jesus was alive in your Life and I know we will immediately recognise one another, you will make sure of that.. my sincerest and heatfelt sympathy to Marie, Frankie , the Grandkids who your Dad so dearly loved ....Marguerite, Leona, Josephene, Lawrence, and Sam how blessed you Sisters were to have him all thoise years in the neighborhood.. France, it was always a pleasure for me to sit down and rap w/ you, you always brought me up to speed on what was goin on in the old neighborhood, I know you were a spiritual man , who had one foot in this world and one in the next, Like my Dad you loved Blue Island, your family, and your friends, and could not even imagine life without all of these components, Marie, Frankie and the Grandkids were the source of overwhelming Joy in your life, you have gone home to your beloved Donna she always seemed so obviously present in your thoughts, I have a deep conviction that you loved and trusted Jesus,you were not much of a churchgoer but your Peace and Joy spoke volumes, and a powetful witness to the presence of the Holy Spirit,pull my coat and greet me when we meet again I'll know you by that inquisitive smile.

I've known Francis forever! He was a good buddy back in the day growing up in Blue Island. I guess you're at the big drag strip in the sky. Lay some rubber brother!!

What a wonderful man you were Francis, we enjoyed the days out at RT. 66. Watch over Frank while he is racing and he will know your with him.

It has been many years, and it did not happened that often, but I really enjoyed talking with you in the alley behind the garage.  God bless.

I was in the garage yesterday and actually turned around to where you usually sit to ask you a question and sat in that chair and thought of all the great times we had in that garage together. I will never forget that is where my passion for racing and cars all started with you. Love you forever your son frank.

Francis was a dear friend and neighbor on desplaines. We grew up together and I will always keep you in my heart and mind you where always there to help when I had car prblems. You will be missed dearly

Uncle Frances, I will forever miss your fun-loving nature, your down-to-earthness, your kindness and even your harassment towards me for being a Bears' fan. I appreciated your passion towards drag racing, and because of that Michael and I gained an interest in racing. You will forever be missed, but will always be in my heart and in my memories. Francis, you have been in my thoughts many time thru the years. I'm going to take some time to dwell on some of the great memories and great times we had when we were young. Hope you are resting easy old friend. I would also like to extend my sympathy to your family for your loss.
