Mami, we met 23 years ago when you and Papi knocked on our door at Clove Court in NJ. You said you were there to meet your new granddaughter. ♥️ From that day you treated me like a daughter. Always welcomed me with open arms and the best hugs. Taught me how to make arroz con gandules and pernil for Rene even although mine will never be as good as yours. And also the turkey fricasee...how many times I heard from Rene...Mami makes it with grape  juice. You fed his soul and his appetite when you opened your heart and home to him. I am forever grateful to you for instilling all your values and love for family in him. I'll miss your bendicions and laughter when we were silly. It doesn't seem real that you won't be there the next time I visit. I know that you're in heaven in no pain and watching over us, Thank you for being the best  Mami in law anyone could ask for. At some such moment we will meet again Mami. I love you always ♥️

I miss you, and I treasure the memories that are helping to ease the pain of your passing. I miss hearing your voice and greeting you with "Bendicion," even though I didn't always get that right. Mom as young kids we  cried about going to church why we gotta go so much. We didn’t understand the path that you were taking us down.. but as adults, we definitely understand the love and the devotion for the Lord, and that’s because of you. thank you for teaching us respect, kindness and generosity, and the love of family.. mami  you always gave us your all to us and you will forever be missed. and thank you for loving your two granddaughters they love you so  much  and miss you a lot.. rest my loving mother. you deserve it.

Mami how much I miss you there no words ,I was your first born so I felt so much love  from you,!I walk pass your room excepting you to be sitting at the computer, but you are no longer there,  we wee blessed to be born in into a very special family you spoiled us individually and taught us to love each other, you also taught us to follow your example and tell each other I love you! Because you told us everyday that you loved us, I miss our good night talks we had , there are no words to tell you how much I loved you Mami,! Know when it’s my time to part you will be there with open arms I will love you forever in this life and in the next.

It's difficult to express the depth of our loss now that you've gone home to be with God. Our hearts are heavy, and tears seem to flow often because your presence will be so deeply missed. You were the most loving mother anyone could ever wish for. You always gave us everything you had to ensure we were okay. Putting my thoughts in to words about the loss of my first love, my mother is so difficult. Our mother loved and devoted her life to her family, her and my father both gave us the best life they could. We didn’t get a lot of material things, but we got a lot of love.  Our mother was strict and would discipline use when needed, but she would also get on the floor and play with us as well. Our up bringing made us  good, caring, and respectful people we are today.  We also instilled what we were taught in our children, thank God and our parents they also have the same values that we were taught. 
Our family bond will continue through the generations. Thank you Mami we love you and will miss you until the end of time.

My dearest grandmother,

I’m beyond grateful for the countless memories we shared. As the oldest grandchild, I feel especially fortunate for all the one-on-one time we had together, and for the many significant milestones you were there to witness. From spending summers with you, sitting on your lap for hours playing cards, to living with you in Margate and having our "serious" talks on the bench by the side door, I treasure every moment. I’m so thankful you were able to attend my school events, help me with last-minute art projects (which you always nailed!), see me graduate high school, celebrate my nursing pin ceremony, and even be there for my wedding.

I’m also grateful that you got to meet your great-grandkids—Arianna, Olivia, and Emilia. I only wish you could have met Eddy in person as well.

I’ll always hold onto the warmth of spending last Christmas with you. The joy of the holiday, playing games, chatting, and laughing together, will forever be a cherished memory. I get teary-eyed just thinking about it.

We think of you often. The girls pass by your photo and talk to you. I wish you could hear them.
