

Bruce George Remillard, 72, of Parkland, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Through every moment of his illness, Bruce carried himself with extraordinary strength, grace, and dignity, never once complaining despite all he endured.
Throughout his life he achieved many milestones, including graduation from Hialeah High School in 1971, where he excelled in football, baseball, and track and field. He continued his athletic career on a football scholarship to New Berry College, SC before later graduating with a degree in Special Education from Florida International University
Bruce owned his first car wash business at just sixteen years old, an achievement that marked the beginning of a lifelong entrepreneurial journey. Throughout his career, he earned widespread respect within the carwash industry, where his innovation, leadership and vision helped shape and advance the industry in significant ways.
Beyond business, however, Bruce will be remembered most for the way he treated people. He was endlessly generous with his time, faith, wisdom, and resources. Whether mentoring others, supporting families in need, coaching youth sports, serving faithfully in church, volunteering with the Miami Shores Optimist Club and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, or simply offering encouragement to a friend or stranger, Bruce lived a life of service and compassion.
Above all else, Bruce treasured his family. He was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren and found his greatest joy in being surrounded by those he loved. His family remembers him as a role model, a source of strength, a loyal supporter, and someone whose love was steady and unconditional.
Bruce married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Lalor, in 1973, beginning a beautiful marriage that spanned fifty-two years and was filled with unwavering love, loyalty, laughter, and partnership. Together, they built a family grounded in faith, resilience, and compassion.
He was the loving father of: Keri (George), Mark (Jess), and Andrew (Katy). He was also the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: John, Bruce, Georgia, and Paige, Kendall, and Peyton, Charlotte and Jack.
He leaves behind his dear siblings: his older brother Jerry (Susie), his sister Debbie (Mike), and his younger brother, Paul (Serena). He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry George Remillard and Louise Marino Remillard
He is also survived by his loving mother-in-law; sister-in-law; and brother-in-law; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members; and many cherished friends near and far who held a special place in his heart.
Bruce’s life was truly a gift to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, generosity, perseverance, leadership, and love that will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. Though he has gone far too soon, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
Family and friends are invited to gather at 4:00 pm on July 18, 2026, at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Dr., Boca Raton, FL 33428 for a eulogy, with food, drinks, and a celebration of life to follow.
