Dr. David William Moss died June 23, 2016, Boca Raton, FL. He was born to Louis Moss and Chaye Rubinowsky Moss on April 28, 1925, in Jezna, Lithuania. He was raised and educated in South Africa and earned his medical degree from the University of the Witswatersrand in Johannesburg. He moved to New York City in 1953, had a private surgical practice and was affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital. He was married to Sally Schorsch Moss for 26 years until her death in 1989. He is survived by daughters Linda Moss Schutter (Tom) and Wendy Moss Lasher (Marty), numerous grandchildren, nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his sister.
