Pop, I love you! I love your life! I love all the wonderful, wonderful memories that we shared. Some of my most cherished memories are, scouting out uncharted mountain roads in Tennessee while the girls went shopping (just to see where they went), white water rafting, golf (lotsa, lotsa laughs), our quiet Bible discussions, flying, frisbee golf, our trip to Hawaii, our helicopter tour. Those are just a few (I could probably write a book if I recalled everything).  I will cherish these memories forever! You are more than a father-in-law to me, you are my friend, you are my Pop. I'll see you on the other side

I have known and worked with Don for over 30 years.  Besides his incredible ability to do his work (which by the way is an Art), I especially have appreciated and loved his warm, friendly, kind way of doing things.  He always had a incredible sense of humor and loved life. 
I Never had the privledge of meeting his beloved wife and family but it truly was all cared about besides his Relationship with God.
What a privilege it was to know him and work with him on a regular basis.
We will truly miss him.

Pop, you were truly a great example of treating others the way you would want to be treated.  You were an amazing blessing and example to our family.  You will be greatly missed here on earth but I take joy in knowing that you are with our creator and living like you were created to live now.  Love you and I will see you again.

I don't know where to begin but I will start by saying that you are the kindest, most genuine and selfless person I ever knew. The way you continually loved , supported, and believed in your family and those around you blows me away. You always told me to choose wisely the man I was going to marry, and it hurts my heart that you didn't get to meet Jordan, but let me tell you, I know with my whole heart that you would've loved and more than approved. He treats me the way you always told me I deserved to be treated. He treats me the way you treated Ammy and your entire family. You loved unconditionally and I will never forget that. My heart is heavy since you are no longer on earth, but I know that you are hanging out with Jesus waiting on us all. I cannot wait to see you. I love you and will miss you so very much. xoxo

Words cannot describe the influence and impact you've had on me and my life. You've mentored me, given me sound advice, and have always led by example. My posture would still be poor without you. You were always there for me and you helped me receive a proper education. I am so grateful to have been blessed with you in my life. My most beautiful memories are with you Pop. From the Smokie Mountains to skies so blue. The sky was never the limit for you. You're forever in my heart my dearest Pop. I am going to miss you more than words can describe. Thank you for absolutely everything. With the time I got to spend with you it was some of the best memories of my childhood. I will always be thinking about you. Like we say in the military  
"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived".

We are so sorry for your loss, Don  was a Great Guy, and even a Better Dad to his Kids and one that I always knew I had to be stright with. He wasn't one that I could bend the rules with-lol, but he was truly a great Father and a Great Person to look up Too. I'm so thinkful for the time and Years that he inspired me so many years ago, but that was the way he was with so many people. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with the Whole Family,

My Dearest Dad, you are now at peace and healed from all your pain and suffering. You have fought the good fight, and soldiered on in your battle with ALS with grace and dignity. You've been a rock in my life and our 7 children's lives. I'm so thankful for all of the precious family times we've shared over the years. I will miss you and think of you always. Pop, there are so many kind things to say about you that I don't know where to begin. I have never met such a kind soul with a heart that just kept giving. I was at one of my lowest points in life and Pop and Amy flew across the state to make sure I was okay and helped me get through my tough time. Selflessness is something I became familiar with because of this great man. 
One thing I will always remember about Pop: Every time I would see him, no matter how much time was in between each visit, he would always ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. My crazy and outrageous answers would always change over the years but one thing would never change, Pop's response. He would look me right in the eye and tell me that he believed I would be the best at whatever I wanted to be. For a child, teen and even an adult, those words have meant so much and stuck with me to this very day. 
Pop, thank you for being an example to me and many others in life and for giving me the best mother I could ever ask for. I love you, see you soon xoxoxoxoxo

Pop, you were always the light in the room and always made people laugh and smile. You always told me I could be whatever I wanted to be when I get old enough and always told me to dream big. In 2012, Bekah and I came to visit you and we spent two whole weeks with you. We had so many adventures and memories that I will always remember. I am so blessed that I was able to have you as my pop. I love you and I can't wait to see you in heaven. You will forever be in our hearts and memories. I love you.

Don was a great friend and godly mentor for me. Over two decades ago he told me, "Worry about nothing, pray about everything". I'll always remember him for his Christian example, wisdom, kindness, generosity, and integrity. When giving me advice about business, he told me to never accept cash from anyone if they or I are doing it to avoid paying taxes. He will be dearly missed. My prayers for his wonderful family. You all have a great legacy.

From the short time I knew Pop he welcomed me like I was part of the family and made me feel like I had a Grandpa again. He was such a selfless man and I knew Jesus lived in him without even hearing him talk. He is dancing with Jesus now and all of my grandparents, pain free!! Praying for you all during this bittersweet time that Jesus wraps His arms around you as you celebrate and remember all the wonderful memories! Jeremiah 29:11-13

Don was our first drummer when we formed the band in Middletown. A really solid musician.  He was still in school  . We had a lot of fun together . He will be missed by all of his old band mates.

I will always have fond memories of Donnie, when we got to visit in Louisville or Gatlinburg.  The Plane ride Bob and I had the pleasure of taking in Don's plane with Sandra.  Thinking of you Sandra. and family.
