

Earl William Bosse, 97, passed peacefully at him home in Boca Raton on April 26th. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and his two brothers, Ollen and Harold. He is survived by a brother, Philip Bosse of North Palm Beach and his three children, Richard Bosse of Henning, Minnesota, Patti Lobbett of Atlanta, Georgia, and Phyllis Trettien of St. Petersburg, Florida. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Kirsten Rutherford, Rian Bosse, Blake Trettien, and Whitney Trettien.
Earl was born in Ada, Ohio and graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in mechanical engineering and was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy during World War II, working on aircraft engines while stationed at Alameda, California. After the war, Earl continued his education at the Oak Ridge School of Reactor Technology and worked for the Atomic Energy Commission as well as NASA developing nuclear propulsion systems.
He and his wife retired to Boca Raton, Florida in 1971 where he started his own contracting and development company building homes. Earl and his wife travelled extensively in their retirement. They took several trips to Europe and researched family history when they visited Germany.
A visitation will take place May 3rd from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m. at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home in Boca Raton. Interment will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery.
