Howard and I have had a couple of days of tears and a lot of laughter remembering Eileen.  Exploded bear cans in the freezer, girdles, gin, lots of love and lots of laughter always.  We loved the pictures and have so many great memories of our time with her and Bob.  We think of the Elliott family often and smile every time!  Love to all of you! We are so sorry to hear about Eileen's passing.  She was such a fun and spirited lady, and always made us laugh.  We will miss her dearly, as we know so many others will.  -- Kellie, Mark, and Chad

Eileen "adopted" me into my other family when I was around nine years old.  The memories and happy times that I shared with Sherry and her family are too numerous to mention.  But, a few of these memories define Eileen's true character.  Eileen thought she was a perfectionist, especially about her house, but we proved her wrong on many occasions.  Her new and beautiful condo in Wintergreen was quickly dismantled by her young grandsons and my two little girls.  My daughter Tracy, then 18 months old, accidentally locked herself into the master bedroom with a bottle of juice. (probably grape)  Then, Steve, Chad, Wendy and Tracy used the stairs as a toboggan run with Bob and Eileen's designer living room pillows.  Eileen laughed as hard as the kids!  She always wanted everyone to have a good time!!  Her bark was much worse than her bite.  Family and friends always came first- no matter what!!  Eileen was special and will be missed by us all. She was a special Aunt always and I'll remember fondly the times we shared together, most especially my trip to your home in Fl and to Wintergreen.  She made everything special for me. Eileen was quite a gal....full of vim and vigor ( remember the time she opened one of my closet doors, looked and said in her special way, "Well Honey, that needs to be cleaned out"....of course she was right!)  She was a special friend and Mother to my special friend.  We will miss her greatly! Our love to Bob, Sherry, Mark, Chad, Steve, spouses and children.
