I miss you and still love you. It’s hard. 

I have a speech today in class, wish you were here getting really nervous. Just want to hear you say that I'm going to do great. I miss you so much it hurts.... I love you forever.

Deepest condolences to Howard's loved ones.  My father, Howard Marks, worked for his Dad, Arthur and Mom, Myra for 25 years.  I used to play with Howard as a kid when we would be in Arthur's store in Plainfield.  He was a wonderful guy then and I am sure he will be sorely missed by those who had the pleasure to know him.

Howie and I met on the PHS swim team, all those years ago, and shared a lot of laughs.  I remember his kindness.  Then 40 years later he was at a real estate conference in NYC, saw me in our booth, walked up and we re-connected.  He was the same friendly, likable guy.  I'm very sorry to read of his passing.  My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

May he rest in peace and send us his winning horses numbers for the next Derby (he did love and know how to handicap the ponies) I can still see his smile in my mine.

I miss my friend who I affectionately called Goldie. I saw him every morning at the Club in the pool or gym.....I envision him there even now. We drove identical cars....he did not care for his EQUUS....I like mine.  He made me smile....we laughed a lot

I am just so devastated.   From being on the opposite side of a business deal, to working together, to friend, you could not ask for a better person.  He will be so missed.

Diana. I am so truely sorry for your loss. Howard was such a great man. He was always upbeat and had a smile on his face. Every time he came into the office, he'd joke around with me. He was my starbucks buddy. You both have always shown me such kindness and i cant tell you how much it means. I will truely miss Howard. Prayers for you and the kids.

I never believed I would have to say goodbye to Howard.  We have been such good friends for so many years.  We went to first grade together 60 years ago, played together, grew up together, and shared so many special adventures.  I spent a lot of time in his home with his family as he was just as often in mine.

We never once quarreled, instead, we confided in each other and helped each other.  I know that everyone who reads this knew him in his or her own way.  I knew him as a man who loved all of his children dearly and wished the best for them all.  During the years that became his last he was so happy with Diana and loved her dearly.

I loved him and will miss him.

I remember Howie from Plainfield days. I remember a Halloween boy/girl party in his basement from back in those days -- maybe 5th or 6th grade.  So long ago.
I remember Howie as a great guy and am saddened to hear of his passing.  My condolences to his family and friends.

On behalf of the Howie's graduating class, Plainfield HS Class of 1966, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family. We were looking forward to seeing in in 2016 at our 50th reunion.
