March 19, 1965 – February 17, 2026
Jill Marie Swartz: a vibrant, joy-filled woman whose presence made people feel seen, welcomed, and at home. She lived with courage, adventure, and faith—and she loved nothing more than bringing family and friends together.
Born on March 19, 1965, in Miami, Florida, Jill was the beloved daughter of James and Patricia Brock and one of eight siblings: Jim, Mark, Judy, Terry, Jack, Paul, and Mary. She shared a beautiful bond with her twin brother, Jack, and her sister, Judy, who both entered eternal life in Christ before her.
Jill made her home in Boca Raton, where she planted deep roots and built a life centered on faith and family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Carl, and together they shared 35 years marked by love, partnership, and unwavering commitment. Jill was a loving mother to her two children, Nicholas James and Sophia Grace, raising them with strength and joy while instilling faith, resilience, compassion, and devotion to Christ and family.
Jill’s joy expanded when she became “Mimis” to her cherished grandson, Logan James, who brought immense light to her life.
Jill had a way of bringing enthusiasm to everyday life. Yoga grounded her, and adventures delighted her—cruises, winter cabin trips, and anything that gave her something to look forward to. She made moments feel special simply by showing up with her whole heart. And when football season arrived, Jill was in her element: a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, loyal through every win and loss, rain or shine—because for her, game day wasn’t just a game, it was pure joy.
Above all, Jill’s life was anchored in faith. She prayed daily, served others, and often said, “Giving is living.” She spent quiet mornings in devotion—journaling and reading her Bible—and the words she lived by were simple and true: “To God be all the glory.”
During her five-month battle with pancreatic cancer, Jill demonstrated extraordinary courage, facing each day with strength, dignity, and unwavering faith—an inspiration to all who walked beside her.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, James and Patricia Brock, her twin brother, Jack, and her sister, Judy. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Carl; her son, Nicholas James, his wife, Luz, and their son, Logan James; her daughter, Sophia Grace, and her husband, Owen; her family, and many dear friends who will carry her love forward.
We know she lives on—in the flowers, in the trees, in the red birds, frogs, and bees. To God be all the glory. Giving is living. And so it is.
