Linda was a woman of deep faith who always put others first. Her faith shaped the way she loved her family, served her church, treated every person she met, and found joy in the beauty of God’s creation.
Linda loved her family beyond measure and was happiest creating lasting memories with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing board games and passing down traditions such as baking Christmas cookies and making annual fall trips to the family cabin in North Carolina. She was always capturing the moment, videoing every detail and photographing the beauty of nature. She wanted to preserve every memory because she truly understood that time was a gift.
Linda was known for her kindness and servant heart. She found joy in giving to others, whether it was leading the Outreach Ministry at West Boca Presbyterian Church years ago, serving the El Shaddai Ministry in Miami, sending birthday and holiday cards to family and friends, or finding the most thoughtful gifts. She always wanted others to feel seen and valued. She asked people questions about themselves and truly cared about their answers. This translated to her final career as a writer for an out-of-state community magazine where she made residents feel valued and connected. Community members embraced Linda and were surprised to hear that she didn’t live there, as she felt like one of their own.
Linda appreciated the beauty of her surroundings each day. She loved watching the birds, taking the scenic route whenever possible, reading cozy mysteries, planning the garden, and discovering local places to explore. She believed the best things in life were free.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Daniel Duggan; her son, Ralph Edward Sethness IV and his wife, Dayna Sethness; her daughter, Cecelia Rose Ribuffo and her husband, Michael Ribuffo; her step-sons, Daniel Taylor Duggan and his wife, Becky Duggan, and Christopher Montgomery Duggan and his wife, Laura Duggan; her beloved grandchildren, Mikey, Autumn, Bennett, Nora, Hannah, and Abbey; and her precious granddaughter, Annabelle, in heaven.
A service honoring Linda’s life will be held on Friday, February 27th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, Florida 33428
