I got to know Moryl while doing business with Caraibes and he and I became friends. I got to know his passion for doing what's best for Caraibes and also for serving the Haitian community abroad and helping out with various projects in the country.  

Mo, you will be missed. It was such an honor and pleasure knowing you and being your friend.

Moryl, I can't believe you are gone, but I know you are in God's hands. As a neighbor in Aux Cayes and a friend, you were always caring and loving to my parents, my sister and I. You were also an excellent citizen that loved and and represented our culture and Country well. Despite the sadness I am feeling, I am thankful that God shared you with us.

It took me a longtime to write this note, Too shocked and saddened to learn about the sudden demise of my dear friend Moryl Gattereau (Mo ). I  was very fortunate to have worked with him on many projects.  His death is a great loss to the Haitian Diaspora’s community. I am so deeply saddened that we will not have him around us anymore, I will always remember him with my highest gratitude.  I wish and pray that Almighty God give peace to his soul and courage to his family to accept this unpredictable and unfortunately unavoidable part of the life. May his soul rest in perfect peace! 😢

I never thought that I would fall into a terrible pain and I’ve lost a brother that. We were always communicating and you know your dj will never leave. I won’t ever forget and all Dj’s will never forget where you are at Jesus will always be with you and also your family and remember Lecadet is always with you. The projects in Haiti are in pause but through your family they will continue. Love you and God bless your family. Lecadet

For some unknown reason I keep remembering all the good memories of us in school. Now even the bad experiences we had together seem like good memories. Let me tell you, as far as I can remember, all my interactions with Moryl were positive. I can assure you Moryl will always be remembered... as long as we live.
