Patricia Ann Lewald

Patricia Ann Lewald was born into eternal life on August 13, 2013 at age 65. She was born in Chicago, IL. Patricia married her loving husband, Martin F. Lewald, Jr. on July 4, 1970. They moved to Boca Raton, FL in 1986. Patricia was an avid swimmer, reader, history buff, music lover and loved to craft and decorate. She spent her early career as a second-grade teacher then spent the rest of her life teaching her own children and grandchildren. She was a very giving and selfless mother and grandmother. She always gave the best she had to give. Her generosity was boundless. She always challenged her children to higher heights and reveled in their accomplishments. She was also a sports fan and was looking forward to seeing the Chicago Cubs win a World Series one day.

Patricia is survived by her husband and their two children, their son Martin J. Lewald and their daughter, Renée Barthel and her husband Ted Barthel. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Cecilia Anne Barthel and Dorothea Clare Barthel.

She is preceded into eternal life by her mother, Dorothy Toops, her grandmother, Mary Cecilia Toops, and her father, John Walker Toops. May she rest in eternal peace with them in heaven. We will always miss her.

A visitation will be held at Babione Funeral Home located at 1100 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL on Friday, August 16 from 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at Babione Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17 at 10am.
