ECI  A pleasant and warm hearted person just adventurous and peaceful soul. I met Ricky along my journey thorough life for  just a few years while doing Computer Studies in South Florida. Always a caring and  constructive person , teachable , willing to take correction or advice as  I have seen, when Mr. Morgan ( Comp Teacher) would have addressed the concerns. I was looking up online for Ricky and found this heart depressing  item, his obituary, and am surprised. I m sure he's rejoicing up above looking down and hoping and waiting for all his loved ones to be reunited. I too have lost someone extremely special to me, my daughter, Ashley, from Ft. Lauderdale, age 30 during Covid. I am living in Trinidad and couldn't attend the funeral. I pray that all your pain that you feel for your loved one despite the number of years Ricky has departed be tolerable and may you find comfort living on the positive memories that you all created as a family and to all of his friends as well. I knew Ricky when I was about 8 years old. He lived in Australia and dated my mum. I loved him, and going by other's memories, Ricky was just as amazing and free a spirit I remember him to be!❤ I remember him holding my hands and spinning me around in our backyard, and making our lives so bright and beautiful for a time. I'm so grateful he came into our lives. I wished he never had to leave. I can't wait to see him again in heaven  and thank him and give him the biggest hug for the love he showed me, my mum and my sister at that time❤ we love you, Ricky! xoxox

RIP Ricky! My friend Elisha and her sister Tammi were looking on facebook and then through google trying to find Ricky. We knew him from the time he spent living in Flagstaff. We loved him! He was so sweet and caring and fun! We were devastated to hear he had passed and how. Would like to send my condolences to his family who he spoke so fondly of. Such a good, kind, sweet person! My heart is heavy.

Rick (Tarzan) was a great guy. He made his little section of beach in boca chica a wonderful place to hang out. He was a kind and interesting fine individual and I am so very happy and fortunate that he blessed my life while I was in Boca Chica enjoying my time at the beach and his friendship and great company.

Ricky, I just dont have the words to express the sadness that is felt. Your smile was remarkable,  the way that you carried yourself nobody else would dare but somehow it suited you. There are no words that anyone could say to me that would take away the pain that I feel. 

I thank God that he gave me the time with you just last month, as well as  the time and the many happy memories that I have had with you over the almost 50 years.

To see and meet the friends that you made in your short time in Boca Chica was heart warming.

Over the last several days many of your friends and acquaintances have called and emailed to express their sorrow for you leaving them much to soon.

All the owners of the Beach Resort where you worked, have all called and or written to say what a really GREAT person you are.

Their Beach Resort shut down for the day in disbelief and sorrow.

Ricky you will be in my heart forever, and I know some day I will be with you in the Lord's house.  And there, I know, we will be happy again.
