

Born and raised in North Providence, RI, he was the son of Angelo and Theresa (Tate) Ricci. He was one of seven children and proud of his Italian heritage. In June, he celebrated 69 years of marriage with his wife Irene (Moniz) Ricci.
Robert worked in construction and owned many businesses including a swim club, motel, and Italian restaurants. In 1979, he moved to Margate, FL. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, gardening, golf, painting, carpentry, and watching Western movies.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Nathan (Sonny) Ricci, Gilbert Ricci, and Angelo Ricci Jr., and sister Dorothy Amaral.
Robert will be forever remembered by his family and friends with these words: loving, humorous, creative, generous, supportive, and hard-working.
Surviving are his devoted wife, Irene (Moniz) Ricci, his children, Debra (Dennis) Massey, Brenda Moskowitz, and Dawn (Andrew) Kamensky; siblings, Anthony Ricci and Anna Moran; cherished grandchildren: Frank, Stephen, James, Giana, Nina, and Stella; and great-grandchildren: Robert, Amber, Kyle, and Devon.
Please join the family as they celebrate Robert’s life on Saturday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m. in Saint David’s Catholic Church, 3900 S. University Dr., Davie, FL 33328. Luncheon to be announced at service.
