Romano Bernaz

Romano Bernaz, 87 of Boca Raton, FL and Brooklyn, NY passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 in Boca Raton. Romano was born in Italy on November 12, 1928 a son of the late John and Giovanna Bernaz. Romano was a Restauranteur for many years. He owned and operated Briones’s of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Rossini’s Midtown, Manhattan.

Surviving Romano is his Loving wife Rose Bernaz, his children Jerry, Ray Jr, and Maryanne Bernaz, his step children Christina Ditonno, Rick Versace and 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Romano was predeceased by his first wife Ann Bernaz and a step son Kelly Sayers.

The family will receive from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. and again from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 15, 2016 Babione –Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 N Federal Hwy Boca Raton FL 33432

The family will also receive friends in New York from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and again from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Torregrossa Funeral Home 1305 79th Street Brooklyn NY 11228.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:45 A.M on Tuesday, January 19, 2015 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 8201 13th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11228. Burial will immediately follow at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY
