Ronald Melvin Lee

Ronald Melvin Lee Sr., 86 of Boca Raton Fl, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb 20th 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was born May 7th 1938 to Thomas and Pascolyn Lee on the North Side of Pittsburgh Penna. Ron attended Oliver High School where he spent most of his time having fun with his friend of over 70 years Jim Robinson. Shortly after graduation Ron was drafted into the army.

In 1960 Ron met and fell in love with Penny Jackson and they married in 1964, they had 2 wonderful sons, Ron Jr and Ryan Robert Lee.

Ron was a loving and devoted family man.

Ron’s love for his family also extended to traveling to locations in Europe, Mexico as well as the Caribbean. He took pride in his gardening skills and also thought he was a master pinochle player.

Any jazz lover would envy his collection, that was truly his passion. Ron also loved the water and that extended to his love of cruising.

In 1999 Ron’s first grandchild Alexis Lee was born followed by Mackenzie Lee and last but not least Ronald Joseph Lee. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Ron was preceded in death by his Mother and father, his beloved son Ron Jr his brothers Thomas and Raymond.

He is survived by his loving wife Penny and younger son Ryan, his grandchildren Alexis, McKenzie and Ronald Joseph (RJ) his great grandchildren Elijah and Elliot Costellanos, his sister Joyce Doty and brothers in law Robert Jackson and Joseph Jackson a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Ronald will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL 33428. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 28, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL 33428. A committal service will occur Friday, February 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Caballero Rivero Fairway Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 1391 NW 45th Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33064.
