Suzanne C Picchi

Marie Therese Pierrette Suzanne Carmel Picchi, lovingly known as “Our Lady in Red,” passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, in Boca Raton, Florida. She was born on January 14, 1946, in Montreal, Canada.

Though she was known to most as Suzanne, her full name reflected the richness and beauty of her life. Suzanne met the love of her life, Ron, at just 15 years old, beginning a lifelong love story that led to their marriage on June 28, 1969. They shared 56 beautiful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and celebration.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Louise; her three children: Gene Guy Picchi (Lana), Michele Eguizabal (Justo), and Laura Sininsky (Jason); and her cherished grandchildren: Zack, Jason, Amanda, Nicholas, Victoria, Gabriel, Thomas, Chyna, Brandon, Zoe, Savannah, Justin, Brandon, Dylan, and Rylie. Suzanne was a devoted and proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. She never missed an opportunity to share stories about them with anyone who would listen.

Suzanne was a devoted daughter to her mother, Pierrette Carmel, whose life was tragically cut short at the young age of 47, a loss that shaped Suzanne’s deep appreciation for family and connection. She was also predeceased by her beloved brother, Guy Carmel, whose passing just a few months before her made their reunion all the more meaningful.

Suzanne had a creative spirit that touched everything she did. She lovingly sewed clothing and costumes for her children and grandchildren, painted with passion, and had a remarkable gift for gardening—she could truly make anything grow. Her home and life were filled with color, beauty, and imagination.

She loved to dance, dress up, and celebrate life. Whether in sparkling outfits or festive costumes, Suzanne brought energy and joy to every gathering. She had a deep love for parties and cherished any chance to bring people together.

Above all, Suzanne was most proud of her family. Her love, warmth, and vibrant personality will live on in all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL 33428, US, on April 28, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
