.Barbara Seelos, 65, of Ocean Isle Beach, passed away peacefully in her home Sunday, October 23, 2011 surrounded by her family after a 4-year battle with cancer. She was a member of New Beginnings Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Seelos; daughters, Kirstin (Dave) May of Ashburn, VA and Kim Seelos of Wilmington, NC; mother, Doris Spicer of Georgetown, DE; brother, Ralph Harrison of Georgetown, DE; grandchildren, Josh, Alyssa, and Brady May; and a sister-in-law, Mary (Tom) Baxter of Penfield, NY. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, William Harrison.
Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 26 at New Beginnings Community Church with Rev. Brad Ferguson officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
