Christine "Chris" Trickett

Chris was born December 2, 1945 in Washington, DC; daughter of the late Kenneth and Doris Hess.

Chris was truly an amazing wife, mother and grandmother, sister, and friend, and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She enjoyed time at the beach, golfing with friends, traveling through Europe, cooking and entertaining, and most importantly spending time with her family. She loved life to the fullest and cherished all the special relationships she shared with so many. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 57 years of marriage, James F. Trickett; three children, Mark J. Trickett and wife Melissa of Windermere, Florida, Eric J. Trickett and wife Katherine of Valdosta, Georgia, and Danielle Shealy and husband Joe of Marvin, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Andrew Trickett, Caitlin Trickett, Ashley Trickett, William Trickett, Matthew Trickett, Samantha Shealy, Brooks Shealy, and Harper Shealy; a sister, Kathy Teitel; and four brothers, Gary Hess, Steven Hess, Chuck Hess, and Andy Hess.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 on Friday, September 6th at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 5105 Ocean Hwy W, Shallotte, NC 28470.
