Mrs. McIntosh was born on November 7, 1944, daughter of the late Simeon and Minnie Stone. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Vander, NC. Ellen taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and served the Nursing Home Ministry. Mrs. McIntosh retired from the public school system. After retirement, Mrs. McIntosh enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and shopping.
She is survived by her two daughters, Anita McIntosh and wife Liz, and Lisa Watson and husband Todd; and four grandchildren, Marie, Meadow, Leilani, and Linzi.
Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Preston McIntosh, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 in the Rowland Cemetery in Rowland, North Carolina with Rev. Mack Roberts officiating.
