Mark was born in Syracuse, New York to Alexander Peter Vasiloff and Mary Helen Vasiloff on February 22, 1954. He attended school in Utica, New York. He graduated from Utica University with a Masters Degree in Finance. He worked at Mobil in Atlanta, Georgia as a purchasing agent. He then moved back to Syracuse, New York to take over the "Family Business", Boston Shoe Repair for twenty years. He then sold the business and moved back to Virginia Beach, Virginia and helped to establish the internet sales department at Freedom Ford. He spent the next twenty years in the automotive business. There he successfully built a strong customer base of clients, friends and coworkers. Making Salesman of the Year for over a decade. He was aboard member at Oceans Condominium located in Virginia Beach, Virginia for eight years and was on the ARC committee in the RRP in Bolivia, North Carolina where he resided.
Mark enjoyed cooking, reading, landscaping, watching old movies, costume parties, riding bikes, shooting live ammo, wood working, the beach and great martini with family and friends.
Heidi, the love of his life, described him as, " the angel GOD blessed me with to walk with me for twenty-two years. You will be missed forever."
Mark is preceded in passing by his father, Alexander P. Vasiloff; and his mother, Mary Helen Vasiloff.
Left to cherish Mark's memory are his fiancee, Heidi Allen, his sister, Diane Bombardo; and a whole host of cousins, nephews, nieces, as well as an aunt and uncle.
A private service will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital or plant a tree in his name and memory.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Lower Cape Fear Life Care Hospice, they were wonderful!
