On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, Paul Forstner crossed into glory to be with Jesus. It was a tough day, but an amazing day as well. He was sent out the way he would have wanted just worshiping the Lord. He is now pain free, full of energy and joining the cloud of witnesses. He was a mighty warrior. He fought a good fight. Now it is time for his rest.
He was a man that loved life to its fullest. Whether it was singing, playing his guitar, gardening or riding that motorcycle, that he loved so much, he did it with his whole heart. He even had the pleasure of recording his own album.
His family was the most important thing in his life. He lit up when he was with his family, especially all those grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he adored. He loved being a dad, Papa and Grandpa.
He was gifted in the Prophetic and also an ordained minister. He had a drive to tell everyone about the goodness of the Lord.
He was a HUGE Michigan fan! But don’t you dare mix up his Michigan Wolverines with those Michigan State Spartans, you might just have a fight on your hands.
Preceding in death are his parents, Michael and Helen Forstner, also sister Angie Kent and nephew Bradan Kent
Surviving is his lovely wife, Veena of 48 years. Also surviving are four children, Christine (John) of Spokane Washington, Lisa (Zack) of Rocky Point, NC, Heather Devane (Austin) of Ivanhoe, NC, and Matthew Forstner of Hampstead, NC. Grandchildren: Miykayah, Shona, Azryah, Roman, Brooklyn, Katherine and Charlotte. Great-grandchildren: Reilynne, Alizah and Elizabeth.
Surviving brothers: David Forstner (Gail) of Etheslville, Alabama and Michael Forstner of Michigan. Two sisters: Bertha Finley (Terry) of Wilmington, NC, and Tanya Dooks (Wayne) of Canda
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15 at three o’clock in the afternoon at Brookfield Church in Wilmington NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
