Randy was born in Brunswick County on January 22, 1957 and was the son of James Elwood Cheers and Nell Hewett Cheers. Randy loved to listen to gospel music and, most of all, he loved God.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood Cheers; brother, Greg Cheers; sister, Lisa Cheers.
He is survived by his mother, Nell Cheers, of the home; niece, Destiny Cheers, of Bolivia, North Carolina.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at eleven o'clock in the morning at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway East, Bolivia, with Rev. Charles Drew officiating. Burial will follow in the Sabbath Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
