Rebecca Creech Gore

She was born in Brunswick County on October 30, 1967 and was the daughter of Doris Caudill Creech of Winnabow and the late James Creech. She was a school teacher for 20+ years and received a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development at UNC in Wilmington. She loved flowers, gardening and her chickens. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, Terry, especially when they were traveling and camping. Rebecca and her daughter, Caitlin, for many years would always take a trip in October in celebration of their birthdays. They also enjoyed going to the movie theater together.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Terry Gore, of the home; daughter, Caitlin Gore, of the home; sisters, Rachel Hinson, of Winnabow and Shirley Sasser of Boiling Spring Lakes. Rebecca was a beloved Aunt B to Jamee and Samantha Carson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 8 at two o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Bolivia Chapel, with the Rev. Brian Raleigh officiating.
