Larry and I loved Ron! He was our co-worker in Brunswick County and was calm, smart, and funny. Things could be going haywire and you could see Ron with his cup of coffee and you just knew it was going to be OK. I was especially thrilled to learn that his family nickname was Uncle Woofie!! I will miss his sense of humor and will never forget him. Rest in peace, my friend. Patty Ellis

Ron and a group of us (Clay Haldeman, James Davis, Freddie Watkins, Eric Hill, Tim Crissman, and Danny Thornton) would meet at Danny's house and play cards and drink whiskey and eat steaks and have a great time. One of the most fun times of my life. I will always remember how Ron loved life and loved people. He was always so upbeat. I don't think I ever heard him say a bad thing about anybody. How is that possible in today's world I don't know but he did it and did it with ease. A good and dependable friend. He will be missed forever. That is all one can ask for. Rest in Peace My Friend. Breathe Easy. Laugh Loud. Smile Brightly.
