He was born in Crawford County, PA on January 8, 1947 and was son of the late Durward and Lola White. He was employed as a consultant with IBM prior to retirement.
Tom truly loved nature and the outdoors. He was awarded Eagle Scout in 1965. Boating, fishing and Panthers football were favorite pastimes. He enjoyed a healthy appetite for good food and good wine. He and his wife, Debbie, enjoyed many adventures while traveling. Always laughing, smiling and telling stories. His greatest accomplishments were being the best ever Dad, Grandad and husband.
Tom is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbie; son, Tommy White and wife, Britta; daughter, Shannon Nice and husband, Graham; grandsons, Sean and Cameron; brother, Jim and wife, Nancy.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 30 at eleven o’clock in the morning at Cape Fear Memorial Park in Southport, NC.
