Veronica Simmons

Veronica Milewski Simmons, age 72, of Boiling Springs Lakes died Tuesday September 22, 2015 at her daughter’s home. Veronica was born in Mt. Vernon, New York September 1, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Constant and Eva Slipkowski Milewski. She was a retired office manager from the Brunswick County Board of Education Transportation Department.

Veronica is survived by a daughter, Kristy S. Bias and husband Ben of Bolivia, N.C.; her grandson, Coby Bias; her canine companion Gibby; two sisters, Claudia Spana and husband Carl, and Teresa Milewski, all of Cape Coral, Florida; mother-in-law, Salema Simmons of Boiling Springs Lakes, N.C.; numerous nieces, nephews, special friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Harvest Fellowship Church 438 Gray Bridge Rd. Shallotte, N.C. with Pastor Tom Johnson officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Cape Fear Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends Thursday September 24, 2015 from 6 pm to 8 pm at White Funeral and Cremation Service 603 Ocean Hwy. Supply, N.C. and other times at the home of her daughter, Kristy Bias, 487 Orchard Ln. Bolivia, N.C.
