To Melissa, Warren, Ashley, Carla and other family members, I offer my deepest condolences. 
My first memory of Wayne and his awesome family date back to 1957/‘58 when my oldest sister babysat me while my dad built his store across from what was then Bolivia High School in downtown Bolivia! I was introduced to Wayne by my nephews, yeah, we were little kids, but friendships developed. 
Our families became “back-to-back” neighbors from Nov ‘58 throughout our childhoods and teenage years until the early ‘70’s when I moved to Greenville after graduating BHS. 
Those nearly 13 +/- years as neighbors, being best friends, seemed like a lifetime at that age! Growing up together, sharing “adventures” within and around our yards and in each other’s homes… using an oft referenced cliche, “those were the days”, would be a gross understatement! Hardly a day went by where we didn’t see and spend time together…at each other’s houses, at church and school. So many fun memories, too many to list here, will forever be etched in my mind. Sharing each other’s birthdays, being together on Christmas Day and of course, the once per year evening/nightime roaming around Bolivia with a group of our other friends on Halloween “terrorizing” townsfolk, who immediately knew who we were regardless of our homemade costumes, especially stand out in my now 71 year old mind. And, of course, there’ll always be memories of us hunting together with air rifles and later with real firearms during our teenage and early adult years. 
Wayne was ALWAYS a loyal and true friend! Oh, how I wish the three of us…Wayne, Melissa and myself…could reminisce on our time growing up together along with our other Bolivia friends. But we allowed Life to get in the way, as is usually the case. 
Wayne, I look forward to the day and time when we meet again, my brother and friend, in our Eternal Home, where you now reside, and Worship and Praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together with our New Bodies…Amen!

Wayne was an awesome friend and (former)brother-in-law.  He was always there with a smile.....and a sweet little snicker.   

From fun times in my youth with our church group,  to spying him at work where he would always make time for a chat.  

Never a bad thought or word.  Always a kind friend.  💕

I remember Wayne from back in the 80's when he & I both volunteered for Town Creek Rescue Squad. He would pick me up if the call was in my direction or I would pick him up if the call was in his direction.  And was always such a a gentleman never leaving me alone at the shop or anywhere. A true gentleman. We need more Wayne Bullard's in the world. He will be missed! Sending love & hugs to Carla and all Wayne's family & friends. ❤️❤️

Wayne was always a friend to me .
My heart surely misses him and the excitement to see each other either in person or on a video chat! He was a hardworking, dependable person who would help you if at all possible! 
I helped them at their wedding and at rehearsal I was nominated to “walk the aisle” instead of the Bride! We were all laughing thus the term I gained “His GurlFriend” lol
We worked together many hours at the Walmart Deli in Southport NC! Even after a long day at the Builders Supply He never left me at closing till all work was done!
My vans battery back then temperamental to say the least! I can’t tell you how many times he backed his lil green truck up and pulled out the jumper cables… he usually followed me all the way to my turn off I honked my horn saying goodnight and flashed his lights as he headed on home to his wife and kids!A true friend! 
Even tho that awful disease changed him in so many ways, Those of us who have known him from before Remember the True Wayne! 
No more troubles speaking
No more troubles walking
No  more aches and pains that no one understood
I am proud to call you My Friend, Wayne!
Love “your GurlFriend” (What always brought a smile to his face!!) Hope you are drinking all the Orange Crush you want!
