Born in San Francisco, CA. on the fourth of August, 1940, he was a son of the late William MacQuarrie, Jr. and Grace Smith MacQuarrie. Bill was a retired co/owner of the Electric Battery Corp. of Jamaica, N.Y. and was a veteran in the US Army National Guard.
Survivors include his son, William MacQuarrie IV and wife Lisa of Hauppauge, N.Y.; a brother, John MacQuarrie and wife Diane of Bolivia, N.C.; two grandchildren, William MacQuarrie V and Juliana Rose MacQuarrie.
Funeral services will be private. Follow up memorial cruise in Spring of 2017.
