

Amparo Alberto Beltran passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024 at her home in Chula Vista,
California. Born in Cavite City, Cavite, she was the fourth of eight children born to Policarpo and
Policarpa Alberto of Cavite City, Cavite. A graduate of Cavite High School, Amparo ‘Paring’ received
her teaching degree from National Teachers College in 1935 and taught at Cavite High School soon
after that. Amparo was happily married to Rosalino Abueg Beltran over 50 years and gave birth to two
children, Aurora 'Rorie’ and Rodelio 'Rodel’. The family immigrated to San Diego, California in 1959
where they happily settled among friends and family from Cavite, who also immigrated to the area. She
enjoyed her work as a dietician at Coronado Hospital from 1969 to 1988 which she retired after 19
years.
Amparo ‘Paring’, was blessed with a family of centenarians and is survived by three siblings, Rading
Alberto (102 years old) of Cavite City, Cavite, Teny Herrera ( 93 years old) of Atlanta Georgia, and
Romie Alberto (91 years old) of San Diego California. She leaves behind a beautiful family consisting
of Aurora and Phillip Tamayo, grandchildren Nathan and Tina Tamayo and great-grandchildren, Alan,
Noah, and Laney; Nicholas and Betty Tamayo, and great-grandchild, Ava; and Noel and Anna Marie
Tamayo and great grandchildren Serafina, Marcela, and Maria Elena.
Amparo 'Paring' will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, her humor, generosity,
steel-trap memory, thoughtfulness of others, and her sense of peace and calm to her final days. Her
great-grandchildren 'apos', gave her the most joys of her life.
A visitation at the Magnolia Room for Amparo will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral mass at Most Precious Blood will occur Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Most Precious Blood, 1245 4th Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91911. A committal service will occur Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
