

Anntoinette passed peacefully on the evening of October 14th after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregiver Patsy Updegrave during the last days of her life. Anntoinette was born in Bridgeport, CT, but had been a Californian since 1957.
Anntoinette attended Holy Cross Academy for young women and graduated from High School in 1945
As a young woman she had been a professional ballroom dancer and studio operator/owner, performing (and winning) many local, state, and regional competitions. As a military wife, she traveled extensively throughout the United States and the Far East until settling her only daughter in college in Southern California in the mid 1960s.
She worked as a PBX operator for two major Los Angeles Medical Centers prior to moving back to Connecticut for a time where she met and married Cornelius G. DeLuca. In 1973, they relocated to Southern California and in 1985, they moved to beautiful Bonita, CA.
Anntoinette enjoyed serving as a volunteer grade school tutor in Chula Vista as well as continuing her successful rare breed dog breeder business until retiring. She and Skip lived in Bonita for the remainder of her life.
Anntoinette is survived by her daughter Mary Jane Woodward and spouse, Reverend Willie L. Woodward. Two grandchildren: Curtis E. Woodward and Emily Anderson Shaw and spouse, Gregory D. Shaw, and one great grandson: Cameron C. Anderson. Anntoinette is predeceased by her brother, Robert Nelson Blanchard
