

Antonia grew up in Holtville, California and raised with three siblings. Santos, Tencha and Alonzo. Antonia was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings sharing many life experiences over the years.
Antonia was blessed with five children; three daughters, Carmelita Labra, Maggie Castro Rodriguez and Erlinda Castro, and two sons, Manuel Cardona and David Cardona. Antonia worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs.
Fortunately, Antonia enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Antonia worked diligently and did her best to succeed as a mother and housewife, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Antonia passed away on March 14, 2011 at home in National City, California. She fought a brave battle against cancer. Antonia is survived by her children Maggie, Erlinda, Manuel and David; her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Services were held at The Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, Californa. Antonia was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
Simply stated, Antonia was a good and kind person, an individual who lived a simple life, and enjoyed her gardening, friends and family.
She will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Antonia leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Antonia Flores Cardona.
