In Loving Memory of
Arturo Garcia
January 6th, 1949 – February 4th, 2026
Arturo Garcia, born in the Philippines, passed away at the age of 77.
Arturo was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Evangeline, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage, and a loving father to his only son, Arthur. Through a lifetime of quiet sacrifice and steadfast dedication, Arturo built a life centered on family, loyalty, and integrity.
Arturo proudly served in the United States Navy retiring as a Chief. One of his greatest accomplishments was providing the opportunity for his family to come to the United States and building a stable, loving home. Following his military career, he continued to work in various roles within the naval community and with the Coast Guard.
A man of few words, Arturo showed love through action rather than speech. He was silently proud, endlessly patient, and unwaveringly loyal. He believed in tempering emotions, doing what was right, and not being swayed by the opinions of others. He lived with quiet confidence, knowing who he was and what truly mattered.
Arturo found joy in spending time with friends and family — whether playing mahjong or cards, visiting casinos, or watching billiards to support his son’s interests. In recent years, his greatest happiness came from his granddaughters, whose laughter and presence brought him immense joy.
Arturo’s legacy is one of dependability, humility, kindness, and unconditional love. He gave generously without expecting anything in return, and he taught by example what it means to be a good man, a devoted husband, and a loving father.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
