Dear Aurora Family, You don't know me, but I know Aurora Favor, when she was a college student at Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines..We were classmate in the  college of dentistry..we we're friends together with couples more friends we had fun graduating..after that were here in  USA trying to find where she at. Finally we find out just this month of July 6 2020 that she's passed away last year..it's soo sad..I will pray for her soul, God Bless You All. She's in peace now..She's a funny girl during college days..🙏🙏🙏

I will always treasure the time we have spent together although somewhat limited.  And I treasure the friendship that you had bestowed towards me. I know you’re in a better place now. I do not have words to ease the pain that your loved ones were experiencing. All I have to offer is a simple prayer for those whom you’ve left behind. Rest In Peace my dearest Sister In Faith. Tita Au, we will miss you so much po. Our heart breaks knowing you are no longer here with us in this world but we know we are just sojourners on earth and these bodies we use are vessels. We know your spirit went up to our Father in Heaven. We find comfort knowing you are no longer suffering and have to go through the pains this world brings. We also are comforted knowing you have a safe and secured place in Heaven come the day of our Lord's second coming.
My memory of you is always seeing you in your deaconess uniform, discretely waving hi at seldom occasions when we attended locale of Phoenix/Glendale. Paalam po tita. Until we meet again in the Holy City.

Our high school memories were full of fun and fond recollections of our youth and being carefree and careless sometimes. And as we became adults and still  able to reconnect many years after, you had been a real friend to all of us, your schoolmates and we all thank you for being the sweet and caring person you are, Rhorie. Always ready to lend a helping hand, any needed advice, or just about anything you can bring whenever you visit us here in LA from Seattle. My Tita Au was always a main stay in my life from earliest days as a toddler in New York. I have flashes of her in her 20s with a “cool” boyfriend(Tito Sariel), young, fun, exciting relatives. Through the years I spent so much time with my cousins her daughters from birth till them having their own families, I love them more as sisters rather than just cousins. Being single, Tita Au made a point to always reach out to me to make sure I’m aware of family gatherings; she with Tito Sariel always lived life to fullest, many travels & experiences, always full of laughter & happiness. I like to think she’s at peace with my mom who passed away to cancer many years ago (Tita Au makes a point to visit her grave regularly, more than I did). Thank you so much. I love you so much Tita Au

I will always remember your generosity and kindness, the love, laughter, and fun moments we always had together at our high school reunions!
When you shared your home (and lots of time and efforts) for our big Seattle high school reunion ... we are most grateful, it will always be in our hearts.

If I could've chosen a sister-in-law, I certainly would've chosen one like Aurora. Luckily for me, I didn't have to choose. Aurora was not only a wonderful sister-in-law, but a fun and generous tita for my sons.

I first knew sis. Aurora back when I was a kid growing up in Seattle local because of Janice, Angel & Anne. Along w/my own sisters, we were all in CWS together. Later as an adult, when my family transferred to Kent local is when I was able to cross paths again w/sis. Aurora.

Though I didn’t know her that well, I was deeply saddened to hear the passing of sis. Aurora. I will remember her as being a kind & gentle soul. And I will always remember her for having a smile on her face. 

I recently lost my Father in Law & I know firsthand how hard it is to see someone we know & love..especially when they’re sick & in & out of the hospital..pass away. It’s never easy. But may you find comfort in knowing she is now peacefully resting. No more worldly sickness & suffering. May you also find comfort knowing that many of us are also grieving with you po & thinking of your whole family during this time.

She has faithfully finished her race..till we all see each other again..❤️


Baby CJ  is so blessed to have met his Lola Ganda. When he was a newborn, Lola Ganda liked to stay with him and watch him as he slept. As he got a little bit older, Lolo Mustache would always take him up to the room to “visit Lola”.  This became a nightly routine before bed, and usually the girls would join them. They would tell jokes, laugh about how squished they all were, and play with baby CJ. Lola Ganda always made baby smile every time he saw her. In the last hours of her life, things were different, she was so much weaker than just a few hours before. But she still made baby smile. That night the kids did their nightly routine for the last time. 

Baby CJ will learn all about how energetic, silly, generous, and loving Lola Ganda was from the stories and memories we will tell him. We will make sure he knows how much she loved him and spoiled him in their short time together, and how much joy he brought to Lola Ganda in her final days. 


BFF i am still in disbelief. My heart aches knowing I lost a friend. We had so many fond memories together. I will miss our coffee sessions at  Starbucks or lunch at Asian Garden (which BTW i had known lately that it had closed down maybe because we don’t go there anymore since you have been staying in SD.) LOL! We gave them a lot of businesses. We had our kids graduation and birthday parties held there.  I will miss the endless laughing and talking  and telling stories and jokes even they  had been told so many times, it never gets old.  Thank you and Ka Sariel for being a Ninang and Ninong to Tim and Rutchel.  It meant a lot too for making it to Cj and Felice’s wedding.  It meant more so now that I realized you  already weren’t feeling well  then but still came.  You faced everything so bravely my friend and I admire you and respect you for that. I love you and  I will miss you a lot.  Rest in peace now💔💔💔

Our dearest Tita Au...

I will always remember all the moments and special times I spent with you and the family. Moving here from the Philippines, you’re family became my 2nd family because I was always at your house days at a time that sometimes my mom would get mad at me for not wanting to go home. When you took me along to California with Ate Janice, Angel and Anne to meet my cousins there in San Diego (my first ever trip in the US) and then took us to Six Flags. The times you and Tito Sariel brought everyone to the resort in the summer time. 

You always made sure that everyone had a good time and is always happy. You cared for everyone and had touched so many. 

There are really no words to describe the sadness that everyone you’ve left behind feels. Knowing we would no longer see your always happy, bright and smiling self in this world. 

But we all find comfort knowing that you are no longer in pain, you’ve finished your race and that in the Holy City, we will see each other again. 

Until then...we will all miss you dearly.

My memorable moment of Ka Au,was when we were together and she told us funny stories, and we laughed so hard that we had tears in our eyes. But most of all her being active in performing her duties in the church. We will always miss you Ka Au.

We are so heartbroken because you are gone. But you will not be forgotten because of the many memories you shared with us. You will always be in our heart.

My story starts a long time ago. When I was younger, Lola would take my arm and walk slowly, like you would when assisting an elderly , teasing that when the time comes, I will have to take her by the arm and walk her. Usually, I would make a joke by walk faster, saying, “look a new toy,” and we’d laugh. We have done this multiple times and we would always tease and joke around about how this will eventually happen.

This year, on August 4th, we went to eat out for Lizley’s birthday. As we were leaving to go home, Lola was walking slowly behind. So, I went to her, held her by the arm, and slowly lead her to the car. There was no jokes this time, for this is what we’ve been “training” to do. I think she mentioned how all our practice is now paying off. I slowly lead her to the car, hugged her, said my goodbye for now, and left to go back home. This was the last thing that I did with her before she went to hospital. 

Lola, I was never ready for this, in fact, no one was, but we all knew the time will come, and it has. I miss you a lot. I will never forget what you did for me, and the rest of your grandchildren. We will remember you and everything you’ve done for this family. We all love you Lola, and we hope to see you again someday, happy and proud of the family you have taken care of.

I remember when lola used to take me and my brother  to Washington every summer so we can see our cousins and spend time with lola and lolo. I remember when lola came to Vegas to take care of me and my brother while our parents where at work and her taking us to school and church. Lola was always there for me, she went to all my birthdays, school graduations,  and even when i got baptized she also came to Japan where was born to help take care of me.  Lola always cared for her family and her duty in the church. 

We love you Lola and you will always be in our hearts ♥️

I remember her love and patience growing up. Growing up with Ateh Janice as a role model, Ateh Angel always being so nice to me, and Anne being good friends with Grace. Dancing hula , bible studies, and church events. Her faith and dedication to all who knew her, just a super woman all around. She is a wonderful woman,  mother, and friend. Her smile and kindness will never be forgotten.  My deepest condolences to entire family.

My very first baby shower that Tita Au kindly planned for me and my other pregnant cousins in her home in Washington. She was always so thoughtful and made sure that we would always have a family reunion when any one of us came to visit ♥️

Families came from Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, New Mexico to spend quality time with each other. It was fun catching up and enjoying each others company. One of many things I will remember tita Au aka Lola Ganda is that wherever she goes, whichever locale she’s in, she always perform her duty no matter what. Tita Au was given a nickname “ travel deaconess “ ❤️ ❤️❤️ 

Tita Au was the one  who took care of me and my family (family of 7) when we arrived here in America (1993) with open arms and lived with her until my parents was able to afford an apartment. 

I also remember when I was young, tita Au will take me and my siblings to the resort (to swim and have fun) and camping during our summer break. And now that we’re all grown ups she then took our kids ( her apos) camping during their summer break. And sometimes us parents would want to tag along with them and we did 😁. She makes it so fun. Movie night, ice cream, games, food and swimming. She made great memories with us.  She’s very sweet, loving and thoughtful Tita and Lola. 

I really miss you tita Au. I’m so heart broken, shocked and disbelief. But I know you have finished your race and won. Thank you for inspiring all of us in performing our duties and in life. I love you so much❤️❤️❤️

Hi Tita Au. I’m nodding my head and smiling at the memory of you. That was our thing. Our nod to each other before our embrace. 

Growing up, it was, “Hi Beli. Tita Au wants 20 kisses” ... or however many you wanted. I miss that too.

I’m the self proclaimed 4th Sandoval sister. The daughter of your sister. You are my second mother. I don’t know how to live without you. 

Every moment of my life, you were there. 

Mom and dad followed your footsteps to New York. We followed you to Washington. Your daughters and then you came to Arizona with us. I’m so grateful that all my life, we stayed together. I don’t know what else to say. I’m heartbroken.

Last I saw you in June, you gave Keluna money, a big bill... I took and saved it to offer it to Our Father in Heaven for the 105th Anniversary Thanksgiving. Because I thought of your unyielding faith and wanted it to go back to the Church you loved so dearly. 

Thank you Tita Au. Thank you for loving us so fiercely. Thank you for being my mom’s best friend. Thank you for loving me as your own. Thank you for your beautiful smile and laughter. Most of all, thank you for being the best example of how to love God. 

I’ll do my best to be a light and love like you were to my mom, ninong Sariel and my cousins. But really, nothing could compare to your bright light. We miss you terribly.

We share laughter, we share a lot of pictures, funny jokes, greet one another hi or hello. 
Tita Au was good at sharing pictures here  😊We’re always updated with pictures of her grandkids ❤️ that she loved so dearly and unconditionally.
We’ll always be Just Us❤️ 
And we will truly miss her here.

I remember Tita Au visiting us in the Philippines and meeting Ate Janice, Ate Angel, and Anne for the first time. I remember all the chocolates and bubbles she brought from the states.

Fast forward to 1993, Tita Au and Tito Sariel took my parents and the 3 Teodoro sisters to live with them until my parents were able to save enough money to rent an apartment on their own. 

As the years went on, I have so many memories of spending weekends at their house in Auburn, summers at Time Share, in the RV  camper/tents, and lots of swimming. She would invite the whole Binhi and Kadiwa. 

At church Tita Au would help with CWS programs for anniversaries and year end celebrations. 

Tita Au & Tito Sariel has always been so welcoming to everyone they meet. Always the first to give help to those in need. I will always remember her as a traveling Deaconess. For where ever she goes, she always has with her, her deaconess uniform and transfer. 

Thank you for continuing your traditions in camping to your grandchildren and always extending  the invitation to Cammi, Borgy, Bugsy, Owen, Gwen, and EJ. 

I will always remember you this way, Tita Au... in your Deaconess Uniform, with a smile on your face and love for God, for the church, and your duty... And your love for Tito Sariel, your three daughters, and grandchildren. 

Rest In Peace, Tita Au. You will forever be in my heart and thoughts. I will cherish all the memories I have of you and reminisce on them with your daughters and grandchildren. 

I also promise to help carry your torch in getting The Favor-Teodoro Clan together. I love you and I will truly miss you.
