

A beloved husband, loving father, doting grandpa, caring brother, and dear friend, Bartolome “Tommy” Alcantara Rosete of San Diego, California and San Felipe, Zambales, passed on peacefully on December 17, 2020, Thursday, at Scripps Memorial Hospital at the age of 72.
He was born on May 15, 1948 and raised in San Felipe, Zambales until he joined the US Navy. He was the son of the late Illuminado Sr. (+) and Maria Alcantara Rosete (+) and was predeceased by his sisters Myrna (+) and Teresita R. Cabaltica (+).Tommy is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Nora Manglicmot Rosete; daughter Janet Rosete Hurst and husband Brett; sons, Jeffrey and wife Donella, and Jonathan Rosete; three grandsons, Tyler, Brandon, and Kyle Hurst; and two granddaughters Devyn Jaymes and Danica Maxine Rosete; brothers, Ely, Weldon, Edwin, and Winston Rosete; and sisters Lita R. Sebastian and Freidita R. Quinto. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who dearly love and will sadly miss him.
Tommy served the US Navy for 22 years, as President of San Felipe Club of San Diego, Inc. for 14 years, Sigma Phi Grand Archon for 2 years, and officer of Saint Columban’s Alumni Association, USA.
Tommy cooked good, relished delicious food, enjoyed going to parties and playing his favorite games, and travelled extensively with his wife and group of travelling friends.
Most importantly, Tommy is passionate of his wife, proud of all of his children, and adored his grandchildren; he deeply loved his family and cherished the time they spent together in family dinners and get-togethers.
Tommy will sorely be missed.
A visitation for Bartolome will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Glen Abbey's Little Chapel of the Roses, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
A second night of visitation will occur Monday, January 4, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Glen Abbey Mortuary (Carport area), 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 10:00am at St. Michael's Church, 2643 Homedale St., San Diego, CA 92139. Burial to follow at Glen Abbey Cemetery.
