Born to the proud parents of Nanci Ramos Colón and Edwin Colón on August 18, 1991. Betty was named after her grandmother Beatriz Ramos, a native of Mexico. On August 18, a beautiful baby girl was born in Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. She was a baptized Catholic, and later attended La Virgin de Guadalupe Church on December 15, 1991. Her parents had the honor of naming Alicia Ballesteros and Manuel Ramirez to be her loving God parents. Betty attended Sherman Elementary School, Chula Vista Elementary, then Menifee Valley Middle School. Later she attended the California Military Institute School for the Marines sub unit, and before we knew it, Betty was graduating from Paloma Valley High School. On December 11, 1996 Betty became an older sister, to her little brother, Ruben Colón. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed taking pictures to capture every moment with her friends and family. She was always surrounded by her best friends Melissa, Andrea, Mike, Tito, and Vanessa. She loved a variety of music. She loved dancing, and she always dressed to impress. She was interested in basketball, softball, cheerleading, and MMA. Betty loved her family, no matter the distance and loved going to Buffalo and Mexico to visit.
