Bonnie Clarice Jackson

Bonnie married the love of her life Donald “DJ” Jackson in 1963 and they raised four children together: Michael “Mike” Jackson, Jon Jackson, Malinda “Mindy” Bennett, and Jolene Picard. They were happily married for 60 years. Their love was admired by many and showed through in their everyday actions.

Bonnie’s love for animals was foremost in her life, second only to her true love, DJ. Dogs held a special place in her heart. Earlier in life, she was passionate about horses and the whole family got into the action. As she aged, dogs became her focus. She had several dogs over the years but the one that held a special place in her heart was Jojo.

Bonnie and DJ celebrated life often by disco dancing for over 50 years.

Her love and generosity will always be remembered.

She is survived by her husband, Donald “DJ” Jackson, children Mike Jackson, Jon Jackson, Mindy Bennett, and Jolene Picard, and grandchildren Bryson & Rylan Bennett, Trevor, Ethan, Clayton & Nathan Jackson, and Samuel & Savannah Kolander. Bonnie is also survived by her sister, Diane Walker whose granddaughter is Bonnie’s namesake.
