This date will be etched in our hearts forever. Everyday we remember and grieve, but on this day we shall remember and talk about all the greatness of Cayden and all the good he brought to this world in his young life. I remember Cayden as a smart, handsome, shy, but funny young man. It was always pleasure to talk with him.

To the Roark family, Cayden and I were never really close. However you guys took me in as family every time I visited. I pray that in your time of mourning you are able to find rest in the Lord and knowing you will one day see him again. He is missed by all his friends and family 🫶🏽

Cayden and I had been friends for many years. We had a falling out a year and a half prior to his death. He was an awesome and inspiring friend to me and my friends during hard times in our lives especially with covid. May your soul rest in peace brother. DEEZY DAWGS 4 LIFE.

Cayden was a very special young man. I knew him mostly through the eyes of his lovely parents and on the handful of occasions we met over the years, he always impressed me with his sweet and friendly personality.  His smile could brighten a room.

Sweet Cayden, my earliest memories of you are from 2010…the summer hannah and I became best friends. You were a classic prankster, always wandering into that downstairs bedroom looking to be entertained. I remember one time, you slapped yourself in the face and yelled, “HAAANNNAAAAHHH!”…hoping to frame her or something. As an only child, I was shocked. As someone who had witnessed many sibling fights though, I knew what was coming. Hannah would make you pay for being a pesky little brother. But that’s not what happened. She laughed, looked at you lovingly, and hugged you. From family trips I got to crash, to all the late night sleepovers and random drop ins in between, I witnessed the magic of the Roark crew. No one’s family is perfect, but family is family, and yours loved you fiercely and endlessly. We will miss you and that effortlessly cool & subtly mischievous smile so so much, lil booty

I had Photo class this past year with Cayden. We were complete Strangers for the first class or two. We sat next to each other and he asked me what music I like, I said Red Hot Chili Peppers. He got very excited and we instantly clicked and became buddies. In that class we became extremely close, laughing about the dumbest of things, doing projects together, and him showing me some great music that I still listen to. We talked about 4Runners a lot as I have one as well. We teased each other about the most useless but funniest things which created amazing memories. He’s a one of a kind kid. He was amazing. He would always put a smile on my face with his dumb jokes. 
I love you Cayden. Rest easy my brother.

The Galvez familia sends their deepest condolences to the entire Roark familia. Lanny, lo siento mucho hermano, que tu hijo, Cayden, haya fallecido. Te acompaño en este momento de dolor. En este momento tan difícil que estas viviendo, sabes que cuentas con mi apoyo.

I only know Cayden through what was shared about him through Lanny who I work with.  Lanny was proud of Cayden and looking forward to his time in college studying music engineering. There are a lot of similarities between Cayden and my daughter Angela (a voice major who dropped studio art as a major three days into college). 

My and my family’s thoughts and prayers are with you all as you work through your loss. I’m sure Cayden is making music now for an incredible audience.

My sincere sympathies go out to the Roark family, sending you prayers of strength and comfort.  His Aunt Darcie is part of our TRACE School family and a beloved friend. She has shared SO many stories and love for her nephew over the years that we all feel we know him and he was a part of our family as well. Love you Cayden ❤️

Hello this is Ja’Quan one of caydens friends from school. Just wanted to say a few quick words. Cayden was such an amazing friend to have, we went on the utah trip together and sat next to each other on the way up, and he would go to youth group with me too, I will never forget the conversations we used to have at school, during my free period cayden would go to the bathroom just to talk to me and check up on how we were doing. Cayden was a true friend, if there was a joke that got too far he would let us know and say thats too far. Even though I am one grade lower than Cayden he was a true friend. He was one of my closest friends we would sit back and laugh all day. Thank you for the given opportunity to speak a few stories about Cayden, god bless your family and him, my condolences, may he forever rest in peace, 🕊️we will all see him up there one day🕊️

Lanny, Jamie, Hannah and Jacob and the entire family, we are so incredibly sorry for your loss. Cayden had one of THE sweetest souls. Camping with him and watching him grow into such a cool young man was inspiring, and his infectious smile (I used to call him Lady-Killer when he flashed that smile!) will forever be engrained in our hearts. My fondest memory was just recently when he played the guitar for us around the campfire even though it was 32 degrees out!  All our love and support. Patty & Dan. 

Easter 2012 - Cayden we will never forget you! Even though we weren’t blood related we always considered you and your family part of ours! We all will miss you soo much! 

July 3, 2023, our friends assembled this group that all wanted to go to the fair last minute before it shutdown for the summer. During our time at the fair, Cayden had brought enthusiasm, joy, and a ton of laughter. We all had good times riding the rides, going head on with him in bumper cars, watching VARGY RIZZ in action, and talking to him. 

Senior Homecoming 2023. This is the very first photo Cayden and I have together. This is when him and I became really tight and when I started considering him as one of my best friends. We miss you brother and when we see each other again we can keep rockin on together 🤘🏽🖤

This was at our senior night and we all played “Guess Who” in this line where we had to describe someone and guess who the person was talking about. One of the rules was that you could not Everyone chose someone random who was not present in the game. When it was Cayden’s turn he chose my boyfriend who was RIGHT next to him who was IN the game. It was the funniest thing ever.
