Charles Dennis Sanchez

Charles was born in San Bernardino, CA but later moved to Chula Vista, CA with his parents and siblings. There he started his own family and created lifetime friendships. He worked at Naval Air Station North Island for 29 years, known as “Charlie,” prior to retiring after a life-threatening health condition.

After retirement he remained positive, enjoyed spending time with family, keeping up with his San Diego sports teams, and maintaining relationships with family and friends. Charles was an easy going, kind man with a contagious smile. He is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughter Julianna (Francisco), son Tyler and grandchildren Serenity, Vivianna and Adelina. He was a young soul taken too soon. Beloved father, uncle, grandpa, brother, and friend. He will be missed.

A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in The Chapel of Roses at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral service will follow in The Chapel of Roses from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, A committal service will occur Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, at Glen Abbey Memorial Park 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A reception will occur Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Eagles Club #3142, 1655 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91911.
