She was born in Manila, Philippines to Osmundo and Julia Miranda. She came to the United States in the late 60's, married and began a family. She was happy to have called San Diego home for 48 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ed; daughter Gigi (Steve), son Joe, and her only grandson Chris. She also leaves behind a sister, Conchita Molles, nephews Ron and Ken, and a niece Cynthia (Ray) who referred to her as "Ate Dear One." Cora was preceded in death by her siblings Norma, Elvie, and Antonio but kept in close contact with their surviving families in the Philippines and Canada.
As her time drew near, she looked forward to reuniting with her brother and sisters, as well as brother-in-law Pablo and cousin Lumen, both having passed in the last few months. Family was always her first priority. She was active with her church, enjoyed many friendships, and worked as a long-time volunteer at Kaiser Permanente. She was fortunate to have traveled several times to the Philippines to visit family.
Our hearts are broken to tell of her passing.
