Cresencia Padre Ronquillo

Cresencia "Remy or Cres" Padre Ronquillo, 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 16, 2023, in Chula Vista, California. She was born on May 4, 1934, in the Philippines, and was the eldest of four children born to Emiliano and Lucena Padre.

Cresencia was a caring and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She met her husband Victoriano while interning at a hospital in Pampanga. When he came in to visit his sister at the hospital, she was taking her vitals, and the rest would be history. Cresencia loved to garden, cook, sing, and dance, and was always surrounded by her family and friends.

Cresencia is survived by her daughter, Charito Ronquillo Jamotillo, and son-in-law, Neil Jamotillo, as well as her grandchildren, Dranreb, Anna-Marie, Kyle, Keani Lynn, Remy Ann, and Alex Jr. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Enzo, Zaia, Malia Kaleia, Elijah Makai, Armando Jr, Aisis, Addy, and Alonzo, and her daughter-in-law, Ofelia Moya Ronquillo.

Cresencia was preceded in death by her husband, Victoriano Olaes Ronquillo, her son, Alex Padre Ronquillo, her parents, Emiliano and Lucena, and her brother, Eliseo Padre.

Cresencia will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the lives she touched.
